(April 2, 2005) Liberty Union Announced the release of a new line of fully insured medical plans named the Michigan Medchoices Personal Care Plans. The Personal Care Plans combine the best of HRA and HSA plans and set a new standard for cost containment and benefit design. Unlike HRA and HSA plans, there are no separate accounts to fund by either the employer or employee and unlike HRA and HSA plans, the employer and employee take on no additional financial risk other than the cost of insurance premiums. The new Personal Care Plans combined with the existing Medchoices Plans make Liberty Union's product portfolio one of the most comprehensive in the industry."
